       NOMINATIONS now OPENED

CALABASH ACHIEVERS AND UNSUNG HEROES AWARDS 2019
Calabash is proudly inviting members of the general public to nominate deserving persons to be recipients of Calabash Achievers and Unsung heroes Awards. This unique recognition seeks to reward local heroes and heroines who have done outstanding unrecognized achievements across the Afro Caribbean community in the UK, at home and beyond.
There are many people of African and Caribbean roots who are making exemplary strides in their lines of business, work or in any other daily activities they may be engaged in across the globe. They go about their business quietly, away from the spotlight, because, for them, the pleasure is in the action and its effects.
Unsung Heroes are individuals and groups or organizations who are contributing tremendously in the development of our community in the Diaspora and directly in Africa and the Caribbean.
The Achievers and Unsung Heroes Awards event was born to recognize the efforts and achievements of these wonderful people. Entry is by nomination by members of the public.
We are therefore putting the spotlight on our heroes & heroines for this one-day special event which will include a grand Dinner and Dance, to be held
